How? I found it very handy to find naughty apps that prevents the phone from deep sleep which can affect the battery life.

To OP, maybe consider connecting the phone to the laptop via USB so it can charge while you're tethering?

Buggy and sometimes doesn't reset the stats for you when you unplug it(mine currently says my device has been uncharged/unplugged for 5 days. Yea i wish my phone can last 5 days

Most information makes no sense on what is draining your battery such xmb_wakelock? qcril_fd? msn_hsic_host? O and i am not making that up. That is what stats are shown on my phone.

never had a single problem with it. i suspect PEBKAC.

yup i heard of google which makes this app half arsed if people have to google the definitions.

O and i have googled some of these definitions before and came back empty handed.

It's a functional app it's not been designed to be pretty and spoon feed you information, it's like a lot of the anti malware programs you can get for pcs that just reel off a massive log file of what might as well be written in martian if you don't know what you're looking for.

Doesnt explain how bad the UI is and how buggy the app is

It explains the UI, it's been built as a tool not to look pretty.
I've never experienced any buggyness on my S3,S4 or N7

then look harder.

everthing i've needed to look up off BBS i've found and got a decent slab of info on.

as i said before, PEBKAC

desire, one x and now s4 have some buggyness with the app.

I have and i have even asked in the xda's official BBS forum page plenty of times and no joy.

i made sufficient effort by googling, manually searching the xda official thread AND made my own dedicated thread asking what x y and z mean.

no joy.

Could never found out what was draining my One X and desire.

The biggest drain of this battery is by far using Google Maps. Holy **** this drains the battery by the end of an hour and half journey. :eek:

Yeah that is a killer

I can go about 4 hours of gps+screen+cell signal.. That's a lot of juice

Hey

I've had the same problem since updating to 4.4 KitKat. Updated the other night drove to work the next day, the phone was in my pocket locked not doing anything. Next thing I know my pocket is get really hot so hot in the fact i had to take the phone out and put it on the seat next to me.

Did some investigation at work It looks like the standard SMS app is keeping the phone awake when locked meaning its draining battery. Didn't have this problem before.

Also keep getting this message saying No APN specified for this device all of the time. Mobile internet works fine.

Dont know if it is related the problem your having aswell.
