Hey all,
Having a massive issue with the DVLA regarding my previous vehicle. They claim to have not received the notification that the vehicle was traded in. They therefore will not pay my tax disc back from the date it was sent in and his only comment was 'well you're losing money you need to write a letter'.
I however, have received a letter from the NMR asking for the mileage of the old car, and also my new vehicles log book.
The dealer informs me they sent both the new vehicle and old vehicle details in the same envelope at the same time. I sent my tax refund via special delivery.
What can I do to sort this out besides writing a letter? I find it disgusting that for following what I was legally obliged to do, including taxing the car on the 27th of the month (losing a months tax in the process) they are very unwilling to help me.
Thanks and sorry for the rant.
