Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB Video Card (£133.98)

Case: Cooler Master Force 500 ATX Mid Tower Case (£32.87)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply (£49.61)

Other: DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter (£20.59) or HDMI TO VGA Cable Adapter (£9.62)
Total: £806.60

Thanks

GTA5 hasn't even been confirmed for PC yet, it could be another year and half before it even turns up for PC.

The GTX 650 isn't a great card at all, so you'll want something like a 7950/7970 around that price range.

It can't not come to pc & after GTA4, I suspect it will be sooner rather than later...

Thanks for the graphics card advice - I just habitually go for Nvidia, but perhaps its time for a change?

Considering it comes with 5 free games, you'll struggle to beat the 7950 for value at the moment.

Trying hard to keep uner £800 so the 7950 is a bit too steep - going for the XFX Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB Video Card @£138

Thanks for the advice though...

Just noticed you've got Windows 7 Professional. Do you need the Professional version? Also, if you wanted to save a bit of money you could get a three month Windows trial and buy it once you've replenished your savings.

Unless you plan on going sli/xfire(which wouldn't even be possible with the PSU you've chosen) go with the motherboard that comes with a CPU cooler

Save yourself £25 on the motherboard plus not have to spend money on a separate cooler.

Save yourself like £7 by changing the ram

Comes in a few colours so you can choose which you prefer, also low profile so no issues with big CPU coolers.

Thats like £30 saved from your initial spec which leaves you with needing another £20 to go with the 7950 suggested over your original gtx650 or the 7870

Do you need the WiFi card or the cables you've speced?

Hey fowler002

I don't need the cables now (the card has 2 * DVI-D outputs for my old VGA monitors) but I do need the WiFi card.
Not sure about the RAM, but liking the mobo - thanks!

As Reaper said, get a 7950 or a 7970. It's a bit extra, but well worth the cost in terms of performance - and you'll get some free games to play while you wait for GTA V.

You'll also want a CPU cooler.
