I've always found it interesting that there was the advertisement banner (like in MSN messenger) in the Skype desktop client.

There isn't even a hint of advertising in the Metro app :confused:

There is on my video calls using the Metro app. It really ****** me off that the desktop client is so buggy as I hate having to use the Metro app.

I shifted over to Google Hangouts. Although I'm sure there will be a time Google will add ads to it...
