Ok hardware junkies here we go again.
Last year i was close to upgrading my whole pc that actually needed upgrading 3 years ago ha! But due do to house renovations bla bla bla its been on the back burner for a long time.
Current spec:
Asus P5QL
Intel Quad Q9300 @ 2.5GHz
8GB DDR2 800Mhz
Sapphire HD 5770
HDD F1 Samsung
550 Hyper X PSU
Nvidia Gtx 470 twin
Creative eXtreme gamer
The only other upgrade since my last post 12 months ago is a Ocz Vertex 2 SSD 120G.
This has been a great pc but im starting to struggle to play CS:GO with decent fps, and i do a lot of iRacing and do race some big events with sometimes more than 40 people on the track.
So i would like to stay with Intel ofc! From what i have read it seems i5 for gamers? i dont do really use the pc for anything els emails browser bla bla.
And i do like the look of some of the overclocked bundles from the site because i would not be into overclocking the hardware myself.
As for GPU i think i want AMD i like the look of eyefinity possibly have triple monitors in the future for iRacing. And i have always been happy with value for money from amd cards.
I dont really want to buy a WHOLE new sytem i was thinking about keeping my DVD drive / Sound card / SSD / Maybe case and psu not sure yet.
I would like the keep the budget at around £650 / £800max.
Thanks for reading and any help would be great
