Hey all,

I thought I'd start this after watching Wreck It Ralph with my daughter. There was a twist near the end that I didn't see coming which got me thinking as I'm usually pretty good with that sort of thing :p

Can you list a movie where there's been a twist that you didn't see coming? Good or bad twists, all welcome.

Rules:
  1. All spoilers must be contained within spoiler tags
  2. Keep the title of the movie outside the spoiler tags so posters know which ones to avoid
  3. No hinting at twists, no matter how how old the movie is
  4. Post YouTube videos if you want but no swearies or excessive violence

Ill start..

Wreck It Ralph

King candy is actually the villain Turbo!

The usual Suspect
The Others

I got both of those, and ruined The Others in the cinema for the person with me when I told her what i thought the twist would be :D

The one I didn't get was Sixth Sense. I knew there was a twist so I forced myself not to try and work it out. When the reveal happened, I got that tingly feeling one gets in such circumstances.

I'm gonna look a complete numpty, but I was one of the gullible fools who didn't see the end of the Sixth sense coming.

Nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed the Sixth Sense more because the twist had the OMG tingly effect on me rather than the "oh yes, just as I thought" effect.

Titanic.

The ship sinks.

I totally didn't see that coming.

More seriously, I'm also one of those "numpties" who didn't see the ending of Sixth Sense coming. I think I worked it out maybe a couple minutes before it was revealed.

Ah the usual suspects - even though I sort of had half an idea I was still kind of suprised by that one its one of the few movies that has "got me".

I don't know if it is a twist as such, but the ending of Seven left me a little shocked.

I pondered adding that
not for the box, but just for the darkness ending, 'things are bad in the world, and they are not about to get any better'

Anyway,
Fight Club

was out around the same time as Sixth Sense, and I thought had a much better twist.
