So yeah, as title. I'm having trouble with my 5 year old (and thus out of warranty so can't RMA) AG Neovo H-W22.

It randomly started flickering. I assumed it was the cable so I tried a different one but that didn't help. After leaving it off for a while and restarting my computer, it started giving me "Input display not in range" then going black. This only happened for a few minutes. After reinstalling video card drivers and booting into safe mode etc, it started showing a picture but only for 2 seconds then going black again.

It doesn't matter what I'm doing with the computer, the same thing happens. In safe mode, in the BIOS, mobo splash screen, Windows loading screen, etc. It'll show the picture for 2 seconds then go black every time I turn it on.

Does this sound like a hardware problem? I don't have another video card or computer to try it on unfortunately. I should mention I reinstalled the monitor drivers also.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty much the exact problem happened to me with an old LG monitor. If your monitor has cathode lights in it, it is likely that the inverter for these has packed up and cant function properly, hence going blank. Do you have another screen to test with so you can be certain its the monitor and not your hardware?

Yeah my other monitor works fine. I've been using a dual monitor setup with this monitor for years. Tried it by itself and the same thing happens too.

As the problem is showing in the BIOS its safe to say its not driver related, so your monitor looks to be shot, time for a nice new upgrade.

Yep, just got an email back from AG Neovo and they say the problem is with the monitor hardware. They offered to fix it for 200 euros :D

Bought a cheap 23" Samsung from someone on here instead.
