Do we Have any Mega Rich Posters?

Isn't there some bloke from Switzerland that owns a couple of Icecream shops or something ? :) used to swan round the forums like he owned the place

Anyone who is and doesn't have ties to the forums (ie Spie) wouldn't post here and/or declare their wealth.

50% of members here are 10-16 y/o geeks, the remaining 50% are people who used to be in that group but have since grown up.

I'd like to think that rich people have better things to do than post on a forum. Mark gets away with it as he used to own the place & must still feel connected even though he sold it all.
I do think there are plenty of wealthy people on the boards though which I'm damn pleased about as they sell all there high end tech in MM. :p

They like to show off.

Not all of them, i know some very wealthy people and they are reclusive in that they dont want everyone to know their business, they dont want people to know that they are rich and hardly are show offs.

My boss is stupid rich, i know for a fact hes worth about £50mill easily as ive seen his accounts. But to look at him, you would think hes just an ordinary guy...he doesnt dress in mega expensive designer gear, neither does he own any supercars...in fact he doesnt even drive. The only thing that says he is rich is his penthouse in Canary wharf, 34 floors up and quite a view of London.

I am rich, currently living a glamorous lifestyle.

Hoping someone else lands on Mayfair soon, so I can keep it going.

I know several *exceptionally* wealthy people, who, are anything but showoffs, in fact they are quite the opposite and live very... average lifestyles.

As do I, he asked why someone would due to the down sides, not what kind of wealthy people are out there or who you know who are rich.

There are several people on motors who currently, or have previously owned or had easy access to very very special cars (Porsche 911's, Ferrari 355, F40, BMW M5's, Mclaren F1, etc) and many who live very good lifestyles but chose not to have such an expensive car (eating in great places, going on fantastic holidays regularly, etc).

I'd imagine that the 'average' wealth of OCUK people in employment is considerably above that of the national average.
