No, but that was actually advice handed out by the "The Working Group Against Racism in Children's Resources", it just wasn't followed.
Although the very fact we have people handing out such PC dribble is of concern.
 
I am against christmas and all religous holidays, im actually against all religious traditions and customs. I made an anti xmas thread a few years ago and posted some videos on true origin of xmas. Very interesting stuff and absolutely nothing to do with religion.
 
EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!

Why don't we shift our focus to a traditionally non-religious holiday like Easter.
 
Nope don't celebrate Xmas. Never have and never will. Same thing with my two little ones. They will grow up with the same mentality.

Christmas is less about religion these days (at least in my household anyway) and more of a family get together. It helps as it splits the winter months up giving you something to work towards and look forward to as winter sets in. As previously stated Jesus wasnt even born on December 25th.
 
So, what's the problem, if you want to celebrate Christmas, fine, do so, if you don't want to celebrate it, then don't!

It's as simple as that! :p
 
Naturally speaking it is the time of year when we have the shortest day. Everyone experiences that.

In harsher times it is the time of year you would hope to have enough to survive the dark and the coming winter.

If one had enough then one would feel glad about this, but it was also the time of year when there were people without, and surely by helping them survive by giving is where the gifting really comes from?
