bought a 7850 2gb asus top for £109 then ....

As the title says bought a 7850 looks amazing until you realize that this is the minimum you need to play BF4 at ok settings for 1080p display so then would need to upgrade my cpu (currently a A10 5800K) to something in region of a new I5 haswell another £160 plus mobo £60 and cooler £25 hmmm so i have a relativly new pc low spec in comparison to some but i thought hang on i am at ps4 money and not far from xbox one so why am i buying tghis card to get 50 fps at 1080 p and wont look as good as ps4 that you just pick up and play .

so i sent it back today unopened (to a competitor) and got my money back i just want to play a game not start game , open web browser , find server , click server , find another server then find out you need to update punk buster and the game , then update your drivers , then overclock . or i could just play at 60fps on my big tv and have blu ray and almost instant connection and before you modders slate me remember the cloud back up to the graphics for ps4 pre processing gfx on the fly

whats wrong with turning the game settings down a little if it struggles? should run that game fine imo
 
I dont see the point of your post. you've not even purchased the card you're sending back from here... are you trolling if so you need practice.

Oh the irony , firstly i expected this from such a hardware hungry forum i would just like to highlight one fact it may be hard for custom pc builders to acknowledge but the top 10 pc games of all time are strategy games and at no 1 is World of warcraft only on pc/mac with over 20 millions players on continuous subscription .

so my question is what benefit does the fastest I7 and a gtx titan bring to to this game or infact any of the other top grossing games sims 3 , diablo 3 , hl2 , bf2 the answer nothing !! if you have enough time to compare pixel quality on games such as these you need to stop gaming

i have a A10-5800k as stock running wow at 60fps at full hd on high settings so what do i gain , i am not trolling i am simply putting my point across as for not knowing what i am talking about i worked as a senior account manager selling high end IT solutions to the education sector and also to the MOD and NHS so have no need to stat willy waving IT knowledge(oops also my biggets customer was Blizzard based in the uk until most of the operation moved back to france.

on another point if you need such a badass pc why has steam shot its biggest customer in the head and launching a steam box that will play all the games without fuss for a fraction of the price .

another point high end pc`s that use a game created nearly a year ago to test modern gfx realy ?
look at this video and tell me that its £4k well spent to play far cry 3 the hardware is capable of so much more but will developers spend years developing a game so it can be pirated ? i dont think so

i have no problem with pc`s and enjoy building them but be honest with yourselves you dont need all that power it never gets used we have only just seen games starting to use quad core cpu`s that came out years and years ago so why now is it to play the same games it is you must have a octo core you dont, you just believe the marketing that intel pays millions for you to buy into

You need to research more, its when you look up facts. Try looking for them sometimes.

Which Intel marketing are you referring to, seeing as they don't have an 8 core CPU that is aimed at the consumer / gamer market?

please pray tell what makes you the authority on IT have you had dealings with the supc and tendering for data center and server farms with multi million pound budgets not geek boy home pc`s run along !!!
