Good bye 9k Violent Duct, you were a good friend and you were good fun but now you have changed. 3k just isn't enough for me anymore, I have found someone new so I don't think we will see each other much anymore. 
I don't think you can just remove one, however when your garage is full when you add another car it will ask you which to replace so you can just replace two Elegy's with something else.
If you spook them they run which is the problem you have. Best way I found is drive up behind them and standing about 2 car lengths behind and just enough to the side to see their head you can shoot them. If they run though easiest for me it to try to push them somewhere where they will stop for even a small amount of time as it makes it easy to aim from in car.

Anyway, isn't the single player limited to certain missions or something?
And another thing! How do I retrieve the cars for the "retrieve the cars" missions?! I've tried running them down - my car gets demolished before I can do anything, tried shooting them - police... lots of police, tried hemming them in at lights and jumping out to get in their car - they just barge their way out

I made the mistake of trying to retrieve a Cocette with my Off-Road truck
it took me ages but I didn't give up.
Obviously there has to be some kind of levelling for progression, but it doesn't really work for me tbh..... Sticky bombs unlock at level 19 for example, I have been using them for the last 40 hours in single player! Everything from single player should be available from the start imo.
You wouldn't be able to afford most of it early on anyway, so if someone wants to grind in order to but a grenade launcher and ammo, fair play to them

I just wish you could kill them like you can NPC's, drive a big vehicle head on at them but doesn't work in missions
Does amuse me when Simeon wants a car and you return in a barely drivable state I think the problem is not the levels needed to unlock certain items but that the missions don't (currently anyway) ramp up with the unlock progression. As it stands everyone is mainly grinding anyway due to the limited number of missions so, even when only playing each mission once, it doesn't take long until you replay it again. I think it would be better that as you unlock more firepower you are doing missions which require more firepower.
A perfect example of this is the missions for Lester where you need to steal a plane of the beach. The mission is much easier if you have a sniper rifle which from memory you unlock a few levels before the mission unlocks.

Quick question folks, Im told that once you steal a helicopter or a jet/plane etc you automatically get a parachute?
Online last night stole a military shanook (it can pick up cars etc) we went as high as we could 5 of us so we could base jump, everyone got out and so did I (now I was driving it)...............I fell like a stone with no parachute.......what Im a doing wrong, pressed triangle???

Don't you have to press X for parachute (seeing as its A on xbox)

lol and when he says "Perfect, hmmmm well almost perfect" or words to that effect.
The wings were missing and the bonnet was flapping up to with the front stoved in!

They never disappeared, just people was overwriting there characters when the servers was offline. (U only get 2 slots) They now have a message telling people that before u start an online game.
Stability has been good/almost pefect since last update for xbox 360, and that was me that couldn't even get on before that update.
I never overwrote my character, I've kept the slot empty, never tried to create another in it. I even quit the correct way and it never came up when playing "rockstar servers down do you want to continue!".
Its not players fault Rockstar do not know how to make a server system.
