Hi all, although I'll be ordering a 7950 on Friday, B Grade 680's and 7970's have been appearing in the clearance lines, all of these cards are £199, therefore they have caught my eye.

Is it worth giving up the new condition, 2 year warranty, trustworthy/faultless 7950 for a card that is faster (but by a small margin in AMD's case, isn't the 7970 only 3-5% faster at the same clocks?), but has the possibility of being faulty and only a 90 day warranty?

I wish you could view what the item was sent back for and how long it was running :(

I'm thinking I should stick the the 7950 as the pros outweigh the cons and it's future is brighter.

7950 all the way there isn't enough performance difference to make losing the warranty and getting a second hand card plus no games to make it worth it at all.

Definetly a new 7950 I have a 7970 and think I should have gone with the 7950.
Iceq is the most recommended btw :)
