Hi all, although I'll be ordering a 7950 on Friday, B Grade 680's and 7970's have been appearing in the clearance lines, all of these cards are £199, therefore they have caught my eye.
Is it worth giving up the new condition, 2 year warranty, trustworthy/faultless 7950 for a card that is faster (but by a small margin in AMD's case, isn't the 7970 only 3-5% faster at the same clocks?), but has the possibility of being faulty and only a 90 day warranty?
I wish you could view what the item was sent back for and how long it was running
I'm thinking I should stick the the 7950 as the pros outweigh the cons and it's future is brighter.
