I dont get the problem here, the deal was struck for the car with a new tyre on it.

If they cant fulfill the deal dont argue just get your money back and walk away.

Honestly, this.

You agreed to a deal, they then changed the terms of the deal after speaking to the 'manager', out of your presence.

They're now not budging because they feel you're too emotionally invested and have already decided to purchase (rightly so..) but you should just walk away.

Like mentioned above, they'll probably call you back the next day.

I suspect it will have epic depreciation, a 2012 can be had for just over 40k so who knows in in 2 years they may be in the mid 20's.

If the dealer is being like this over a tyre, what are they going to be like if you buy the car and you discover something that needs fixing after a few days?
