GTA V Multiplayer thread (360, XBOX ONE, PS3 and PS4)

I hate that i join a co-op mission with 3 friends.. we do it.. then the next options are vs or races which really need more people to be good.. so we have to quit and reload which takes ages then we are all on different servers anyway.. then we get job invite for a 1-4 player again and have to load in again.. such a slow process :(

It's even more dissapointing that people find buying a product and finding it not functioning exactly as intended acceptable - but it explains why games are generally shipped first, finished later these days.

If your product isn't ready to work flawlessly, don't sell it to the public yet. It's perhaps just about tolerable in smaller indy developers with great games but without the cash to perfect the development process. Not on an $800m first day sales blockbuster though.

I'm a week late to this one but who cares; I didn't say it was acceptable, but it was certainly expected. A game as massive as GTA with a large online component that's suddenly pounced-on by thousands/millions of people was clearly never going to launch flawlessly. They can't test for those cases so inevitably it's up to the initial users to essentially do that for them. The only alternative would have been an open beta but those can be damaging in their own way because people seem unable to differentiate a beta from a demo.

My new getaway vehicle for robbing stores.

As you do. :p

This is mine :) My good deed for today was giving out a few Annihilator choppers to random players. They seem to be spawning regularly for me now at the helipad.

Also, my guy looks like a junkie. I didn't put the illegal work stat too high, he didn't look like this at the start.

Edit: This just happened, in a game called Grand Theft Auto, full of murder, explosions, torture and hookers, I'm now a "bad sport" and banned from playing with my friends because we were having fun blowing each others cars up? 48 hours of not playing with my friends is torture, especially over Friday and Saturday! It's the biggest pile of **** I've ever heard of in a game.

Can't you vote to refresh? It should be one of the options below the 6 jobs.

You'll be sniped through the windscreen before those props fire up. :p

By the cops or other players? Cops are useless, but I did get shot at by some other player who couldn't shoot for ****. I still died though, might of been because I tried to land on him and ended up blowing the chopper up. Wasn't my fault though, who put a road in my way? Not my fault!

Scars are temporary from taking damage. I've had bullet holes on the back of my neck (stupid mechanic tbh) that scar up into a horrible blob and then eventually disappear. It's a creative mechanic but the fact you can run around with bullet holes in your head and 10 on your chest looks retarded lol. Maybe in a game like Prototype it would work, but in something grounded like GTA, who can survive that kinda stuff. :p

Hated it in Max Payne 3 too. Watching cutscenes with several holes in your chest was a little distracting.
