So is there a thunderstone etc in this? Random i know but my copy hasnt arrived yet and i usual use it to evolve pikachu.

I would be appalled if you could not get a thunderstone.

There were quite a few ways to get them in HG but all of them wee a bit of a pain to get. I'd assume that since you can get Pikachu fairly early on in this game though you'll get a thunderstone fairly early on too.

Yeah hope so i just hope that it has decent hp this time, One of my fav electric pokemon next to Volteon and Zapdos.

I NEED the answer to this too. Trying my hardest not to buy the xl version with the mahoosive price difference.

You get exp share just after the first gym, and you can catch a Pikachu in the forest before that

I'm in the same boat as some other posters, i havent owned a handheld console since the GB colour

Trying to save for a PC build and an holiday. Trying to save the pennies.

If its too small, its too small. I have no arguments there. I just have not played on any.

The majority of you say its good, I might pop in to ASDA on the way home from work, as they normally have it cheaper then everywhere else.

I bought the Pokemon XL and much prefer it to my original 3DS, not just the screen size but I find it easier to hold etc. also the Pokemon XL looks amazing too
