Today was a bit of a nightmare to say the least didnt get nearly as much done as i wanted/hoped due to some issues we ran into.
First of all we took off the downstairs radiator as its not level, flushed the system and then started to fit the radiator in the main bedroom, its the big double one that used to be in the living room so should be more than powerful enough for the bedroom!
Lengthening the pipe for the right side.
Freshly glossed door, picture doesn't show it but it looks insanely white in person and such a nice sheen on it
Cleaning the windows as they'll be staying a bit longer than i wanted due to the way bonus works at my place its quiet over christmas so they'll be staying in till i can get some cash going next year.
Cupboard with all the sockets in ready to take some equipment, i don't have much to put in there yet but im hoping that my wife will treat me to some gear for christmas to fill some of the plug space
All LED's and speakers fitted, shelving in place in the cupboard.
One of my remote sockets installed as a bedside socket to take a lamp this will be used with my mood settings of my lights so i can choose a mood that would include either a lamp and main lights and set the brightness levels of the ceiling lights for different scenarios
Picture of the app setup for the bedroom, Ultimate lazy gadget this and did cost a lot but its great to use when setup.
Issues-
First issue of the day was the toilet (stack) being blocked so that took up a lot of time getting that sorted!!!
Second issue was the LED's / Dimmers i have, they seem to work fine with 2 LED's installed apart from where i have a Master/ Slave (2Way) lighting setup, i assume this is due to the fact that to power up 2 switches a little more current is needed and this pulls about enough to have the LED's flashing very dimly when switched off, so my plan is to install an extra light onto the landing lights into the loft so that when switched on i will have light up there and also resolving my flicker problem.
The other 2 LED's i have is in my living room where i have a bank of 8 and then 2, 2 which will be over my dining table, im still trying to see what i can do about this one i'll probably end up with a RESLOADE which is basically a big resistor which simulates a 10w load on the circuit which should resolve my flicker problem.
So after all this im back at home writing this and have work for the next 6 days and i have a family asking me to help with some door fitting so i'll not get anything much done at the house till next saturday.
