Just wondering. Do the decent players on here have their keyboard and mouse on the same level? I've got my keyboard on the pull out drawer under my desk and my mouse above on the desk.

I also think I need a better mouse. Currently using a cheapo Gigabyte M6800. Might treat myself to a keyboard, mouse and mat this week.

just spent a round marking vehicles and 1 out of all of them was hit

, it seems to take a fair while to mark a vehicle, but i didn't use the soflam much in bf3 so not might be normal ?

machine guns on the tanks need a bit more accuracy than they used to, which doesn't help when ya aim is as bad as mine

problem is it isn't a full release so not a decent chance to see how the full game will work out, but i don't think the levelution is going to be as brilliant as there trying to make out, as Suarez said it would kill framerates, and with EA i doubt they had the foresight to include an option to turn it off, cos its the main selling point of the game.

think most people have it on the same level, is the pull out tray secure enough it doesn't move when you play ?

Yep... The last round I played yesterday was the same. Still, I did manage to take down another chopper with a free aim RPG from the passenger seat of the transport/minigun heli

It also started off with both choppers being parked on roofs... The centre section of C is a great place to dump the attack heli isn't it? :rolleyes:

I'm tempted to preorder the disc version of this as its £20 cheaper, is there no way of using the key from the disc version and still downloading it?

Currently using a logitech g400 + saitek eclipse II (badly needs replacing though as it is like 5 or 6 years old and keys don't respond as well, thinking of going with the CM storm quickfire red switches) with a boogie bug XL mouse mat, imo it is a great combination, have used a few razer deathadder mice and they are great too, it just comes down to preference and what feels better in the hand imo.

The tanks coxial gun is a bit weaker so you need to aim for the head and zoom in regardless of the distance.....

As I said before, I highly recommend watching loads of xfactors and lvlcapgaming videos on youtube, a lot of great tips and you learn how they play by just watching what they do and eventually with enough videos watched, you might adopt their "playstyle"

I use mouse and keyboard on the same level on a bungie xxl mouse pad. I couldn't use them on different levels, feels unnatural and wrong.

Both a Razer Deathadder and a Microsoft X4 Sidewinder although i will be switched to a mechanical one at some point.

Couldn't play with keyboard and mouse on different levels would totally mess with my game :S

Not for everyone but I'd highly reccomend it for anyone looking to move on from old school WMO setups

the Zowie mice are definitely worth a look at though as they have something for most tastes though possibly a little above your price range.

Pretty much crashes once per round for me at the moment. Annoying how weak the starting weapons are but general game play is loads of fun and pure madness. I wound love to hear what settings people use as the detail is very bland. Gets even worse when the building is levelled. Sooooo much dust!

Still really enjoying the BETA. Can't help but think that the map we were given is far from the best looking or most interesting. Think how good Paracel Storm or some of the other more natural maps will look with their more vaired colours and environments!

Just tried my mouse and keyboard on the same level. Unfortunately my chair won't go any higher and it feels quite awkward at the moment. Will try and stick with it. Need to shift my PC from the right side of my desk as well now. I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.
