Hi all,

Currently have a Corsair Carbide 540, and have the dual radiator mounted on the top surface. I have 2 Akasa Apaches (amazingly quiet fans) which can cool fairly efficiently, but are still allowing the CPU to reach 78'C.

Swapping to the OEM fans will keep the temps below 60'C.

My question is, is it possible to mount 4 Akasa Apaches in push/pull config within this case (mindful of how you mount the top fans to the radiator and then, the radiator to the case?).

I believe this setup would reduce temps back down to 55'C - 60'C.

I don't know about that case question, but 4 fans instead of 2 fans reduce temps by 1c compaired to having just the stock fans. Regardless of fan profile.

The H100i has a thin rad. Just mount the stock corsair fans on it and you'll get the best temps it'll ever give (+ / - 1c) :)

Maybe having 4 fans possibly forms an insane vacuum that actually improves the total case airflow (and dust intake) but this is just funny speculation. The rad is just about as effective as it can be with 2.

Ouch! Tiny Tim and his experimentation...

I guess my next port of call would be to consider de-lidding the 4770K. It is running 4.4GHz at the moment.

Hey,I'm using the same Case and i'm using a H100I with 4 Corsair sp120's 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom,If they are 120mm and not 2 bulky.

I imagine they should work hope this helps.
