random question and i cant find an answer so im guessing not but do OCUK do some kind of store credit?

ie. if i wanted to give a present to someone of say £100 to spend on ocuk.

without actually giving them £100 in cash

thanks.

how did i miss that.

although it looks like there is a mistake somehow?

when you click it, it shows the correct amount

Bear in mind that wherever you buy gift vouchers from, the consumer tends to lose out. Normally you don't get any change at all, it's tough - here you get a credit although some odd amount left over is going to be tricky to spend!

Terms and Conditions
- Change will not be given but if the order value is less than the voucher value, a credit will be issued to the customers account for any remaining difference.
- No cash alternative will be offered.
- Voucher will be valid for 24 months from date of issue.

I'd just ask them what they want and buy it for them tbh.

its for me :)

my birthday at the end of the month and ive asked for vouchers

(i will be spending more than the vouchers value)

rule 1 of pc gaming. never let your lady ever know the real value of the items. (yes im under the thumb)

my op was just the best way i could describe it.

I think you should get a little tiny bit more in store credit when you buy these.

You're committing to spend on the money at OcUK, so it'd be a nice bonus for committing. :)

Easily abused though and would quickly add up when everyone figured out they could just buy these then pay for their system.

I'd just give them the cash, vouchers of any sort make no sense to me.
This.

Someone gave me vouchers for purple shirt land once knowing that I liked computers (only £10 value iirc), I'm pretty sure it sat gathering dust and eventually got binned.

Vouchers make no sense to me either, just give cash and write "for PC parts" on the notes or something.

For my birthday this year, I was given cash yet my sister was given vouchers. There was no sense in it -_-. I went and put it in my bank and she ended up having to walk around the shop for 2 hours finding something to buy.

I had vouchers for OCUk and bought some items and did not quite use up the full amount.
On the next purchase it used the last bit of credit from the vouchers (was only 82p) :)
