I've spent £150 on packs. Did it day 1 and sold all the players when they were at their highest pretty much. Did get quite a few good pulls, Iniesta, 2 Jesus Navas, Eto'o, Hazard, etc. Bought Ronaldo when he was at 1.6, so nice 600k profit on him. On 2.7m trade profit if that's an indicator, and I've given friends about 100k or so.
 
Bought Zlatan last night. Oh yes he is good.

I'm a running scoop whore but his scoops make it even more worthwhile. The 180 degrees snaps followed by speed boost are unbelievable. I killed 3 defenders with one last night. :)

1m coins though. A good 300-400k more than last year. :(

I'll keep him till I can afford CR7. Spent about £60 on packs. Pulled Robben and Eto'o and loads of players worth 10-20k. Bought the packs on release.
 
Not bad, buying packs on release is probably the only good time to do so as you can usually get the value back in coins unless you're extremely unlucky.

2.7 million is worth about £500 on the consoles.
 
I'm finding 442 pretty tough to play with vs decent players, you need to bring the RM and LM into play as often as possible to make them run down the wings, if you don't you are basically attacking with just 2 strikers alone which is to easy to defend against, i need a formation that automatically brings one or two more players into a attack.
 
I had Ibra, granted only for about 8 games, but I just didn't get on with him. It could have been the formation/team though, as they all seemed to play poorly.

Really liking Messi so far, brilliant shot and his passing is brilliant.

Yeah Messi was amazing in the demo. Felt a lot better than last years.

Lavezzi is my favourite player again this year discounting the 1m+ players.

Thats my exact problem with 41212... i even have high attack workrates on my wings to try give me more outlets but im getting frustrated with the lack of chances. Going to try 433 then and see how it goes or 4222 as its had good reviews.
 
For formations with RM/LM's I find you either need to use 1-2's with them, or pass it across the opponents final third - usually a gap opens up on the wing of their defence and they run into it.
 
4222 looks decent, 2 cam's and 2 strikers, with 2 cdm's, that balance sounds very nice.

How do the CAM's act in that formation? do they play a little wider?, if i change to this i now need to find 2 cam's though lol

£150!!!! That is pure madness. Next time, just send me £150 and I'll spend it something worthwhile!
 
It is pretty crazy when you think about it, EA have basically turned FIFA into a game that would net them around £30 a year per person into one I bet averages out around £100 or something now. Considering the only new content they add to the mode most people play is some new IF's every week which most of the time aren't worth it, it's very poor value for money. That being said if it's a game you put a lot of time into throughout the year then I could see why you would want to have an epic team at whatever cost it takes.

They do start wide but not touch line wide. Say 10-15 yards off the touch line and then it's up to you where you dribble. 4222 is my favourite formation this year although I'm going to try the old favourite from FIFA 13:

i play 4-2-2-2 although I play on PC. Only in here because the pc thread isnt usually very busy.

I have Hernanes and Kaka as my CAM's. COuld do with a bit more pace, but with Ramires and Gustavo as CDM's its generally a nice solid formation.
