Hi all,

Bought an item from the EU listed in Euros. I have a Fair FX card, which, on the this amount is a saving of £25 over the PayPayl exchange rate.

I have added and linked the Fair FX card to my PayPal account, but how can I tell ebay / PayPal that I want to pay the Euro price not it's crappy £ conversion?

A 25 quid saving!? Is the item thousands of euros, that's a huge saving!

Wrong. Right now for USD paypal offer 1.54925, but the midmarket rate (very nearly the rate you get with Halifax clarity for example) is 1.59731.

To save £25 you need to make a payment of £520.18. Paypal are thieves.

Edit: just realised discussion was about euros. It's a payment of £529.55 to make a £25 saving in EUR.
