Just after a bit of advice.

I have a Asrock p67 Fatality professional b3 which on the box says it comes with one year extra warranty, but how long is the normal warranty? I can't seem to find this info out. I have emailed Asrock but it's been a nearly a week and had now reply.

Anyone know?

I was told its 2 years.

First year back to the retailer and the other needs posting abroad.

so would I get another year on top of that? as mine say's 1 year extra warranty on the side of the box.

mine was purchased on 08-06-2011

I don't know, I had a Asrock board and when enquiring about the warranty was told the above.

I don't remember there being a "one year" extra sticker anywhere on the box.

Sorry, but Asrock or where you bought it will be able to answer.

they should reply quicker than that, usually 2 to 3 days, and rma to the Netherlands roughly 1 to 2 weeks turnaround

normally 3 year warranty on all motherboards

I purchased it here from Ock on the 08-06-2011

Yeah on the side of my box it has a large round sticker with"1 year extended warranty"

I have replaced the boards with one from the mm, but thought if it was under warranty it might be worth sending back, depending on how much it costs to ship to the Netherlands.

I think it was £12 for me cant remember now, which they asked me to put into the mb box:eek:

if it is only 2yr standard warranty,im suprised

Looking at reviews and also Asrocks website the standard warranty is only a year which put's me off buying their boards. If the OP has a extra year then he's out of warranty.

Ok guys thanks for the info. It's no big deal as I got an Asus sabertooth off the mm and to be honest it's a much better board, everything just works and it was so easy to overclock with and is rock solid. I really like it.

This was my first and only Asrock board tbh, not so much due to it's failure although you do expect something costing £200 to last more than two years, well I do anyway. I have always had nothing but Asus in the past and as again with this one just much prefer it now using it.

I'd still make a point to try and get it replaced, go through the retailer first, no doubt they'll try and fob you off but ultimately it is their responsibility as your "contract" is with the company sold you the item. Usually by quoting the SOGA you can get them to take it back.

This article here backs up what you were saying about the extra year of warranty: http://www.asrock.com/news/events/201102ex/warranty.html and expires after you purchased the board. So it should have at the very least 3 years.

Nice one speed, thanks for that info. Like I said it was purchased from Ock, maybe they would be kind enough to let me know in this thread.

Would be unlikely, try their webnote system through the main website or the customer care section in the forums.

You will get nowhere as it's out of warranty. Like i said, Asrocks normal warranty is only 1 year not 2 like people seem to think. See here. Every review of Asrock boards also state a single year warranty. Even with the extra year, your's ran out in June.
