Ok well was testing OC's last night, and I am now 100% stable at 1202 core and 7000 memory which is ace.

Had to raise the fans to 50% to stop artifacts which I think are memory related anyway. So this gives me hope for when my water block arrives to maybe push further.

Just a note on tuning these cards, when I just went at it like a hilbilly lots of core lots of voltage it gave diminished returns and anything above 1180 would artifact no matter what. So I took a look at the VRM clock and adjusted this in steps and it had a direct affect on the artifacting. once I was Fire strike stable I went into vally but got artifacts and 70 deg. They key here is to up the fans, at 50% they keep this overclock below 65 degC. This was then Heaven Vally stable all day long.

What VRM clock did you end up with to get 1202 stable?

I'm interested as it is the one thing I havn't messed around with yet.

Well I've now got the 13.4 package to install with a proper functioning CCC. :)

However, I still cannot get newer drivers to install. :(

Also noticed that when 13.4 was installing, Windows Installer issued an alert while installing CCC, but still managed to install anyway.

Just concentrate on the core for now. Try 1.250v and set the LLC and Power target to max and raise the voltage accordingly to find your max stable clocks.

Work on the memory later.

Well I might have fixed it. I went into the BF3 folder and installed DX from there, and have been playing since I posted that without any issues.

Another issue I have seen is some boxes appearing on firefox, but this seems to be an issue with a load of ATI card. So it may be a driver issue or firefox.

Well it seems I am still getting the error.

I wonder if the card is faulty???

I managed 1170 on the core without artifacts on stock voltage. 1180 starts to bring in small errors. I will try the above also with power target and LLC. Is VRM worth a tweak as mentioned somewhere above?

Yep VRM clock is worth it, I couldn't get over 1180 stable but adjusting in small increments stopped me artifacting at 1202 and now 1208 core speed
