Just wished the stand had height adjustment but has tilt so should be fine.

Thanks Moogleys.

I have tried that but the image seems quite green? Maybe it needs to settle. Would you mind letting me know how far down you went with Brightness?

I assume on the PS3 you use Full RGB. Do you use Superwhite? Does it even do anything?

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

OK PS3 settings are -

Output 1080p
Cross colour reduction on
RGB full range full
Super white on
Deep colour auto

On the monitor -

Contrast 70
Brightness 80
Colour native
Dynamic contrast off
Overdrive off

Hope this helps...

Lovely, thanks for confirming. That's really helpful.

Kind regards

I just bought one of these monitors and use it with Nvidia 3D Vision using the Red/Blue glasses and it works well. Also created a custom refresh rate in the Nvidia control panelof 80hz.

Overall a very nice monitor for the money. I paid £191.99 for mine.

Monitor passes my Industry approved Avril test... :)

Tbh I think the colours on this are better than my Dell 2713HM was. I spent hours calibrating the Dell all I did with this was lower the brightness a touch. You can tell it's not as high res but 1080p is perfectly fine on a 27" sat a few feet away on the desk. The pics were taken from my viewing distance and tbh look fantastic.

Lol :D

Very nice screen, I ended up giving my 1080P IPS to my boys for their PC in their room. They love it, can watch films and much better / larger for gaming.

Back on my 1440P screen now, 1440P def has more pop, the extra performance needed is the only negative, My 780 clocked at 1300mhz copes well, but look forward to 20nm when single GPU's can truly handle 1440P in the same way 28nm can handle 1080p.

Great screen for the money, can't believe how cheap IPS tech is now. My boys are using the screen now and love it.
