Tube Res/Pump Combo?

Hi guys,

Need a tube res with pump mounted to it but importantly needs to have intake on top of the res and out at bottom.

I've been eying up the XSPX Photon but that appears to have both out and input at bottom by the pump.

My layout leaves no room for a separate pump and again with layout (rad on roof) need to be able to go from rad to inlet on top of res.

How about the XSPC X20 750? I just got one with a 360 rad on the roof and it works fine.

I need a tube res.

I have no 5.25" bay to mount the X20 750.

The photon tube with D5 pump is the best combo pump wise for you. There is an EK top which screws a tube reservoir on it but i think these new tube reservoir/pump combos by xspc look neater.

Like I said in OP, the Photon does not have an input up top unless i'm mistaken?

There are some tubes available for preorder, and looks like they have 4 1/4" slots, 2 on top and 2 at bottom. Only problem is separate pump, if you can live with that.

It looks like to D5 combos will not works, but the DDC pump/res combos will works. Something like the Ek DDC X-res. Can anyone confirm?

And will the DDC pumps be sufficient for a 280mm Monsta Rad, CPU/GPU blocks?

They mostly come in two flavours, 10 watt and 18 watt. I have never used one so i cant say if they are enough, they have lower flow rates but plenty of head.

All my builds use EK 4.0 pump. One pump has comfortably done three blocks and two radiators before for me. People say that they can be noisy but i have never heard it over my fans or AIO cooler that is attached to my GPU. I can reduce the noise by hooking it up to a fan controller, but never felt the need tot urn it down, since i cant ever hear it.
