so, upgrading a video-editing rig for a friend, debating on these 3 CPUs + according MB. Won't be buying in UK so prices are approximate in Euros.
Overclocking is not really required, but I haven't listed 4770 as the price difference between that and 4770K is too small not to take 4770K

I'd like to have iGPU included for various reasons, but there's Quadro FX1800 running there now so not really a deal breaker.

Cooler is NH-D14.

there's 6x4GB Kingston 1600MHz sticks, if going LGA1150, 2 of them would become unusable, so started considering LGA2011 (of course other benefits too)

RAM can always be sold though, but it's the extra hassle.

4770K - 280 Euro + ~130 Euro MB
4820K - 280 Euro + ~200 Euro MB
1230v3 - 210 Euro + ~90 Euro MB

considering everything, atm the best option would seem to be the Xeon mainly based on the cost/performance ratio (110 Euro extra just for iGPU and overclocking options), but would like to listen to any other opinions.

Price-wise (only if you aren't overclocking) the Xeon.

LGA2011 has benefits though, you'd be able to run the full 24GB in triple channel mode and it also leaves you with a credible upgrade path (4930K). You pay a premium for it though and you might need a mounting kit for your heatsink.
