It's definitely 50% with an ever stone and it's not confirmed it works with male so I couldn't be arsed trying it

Have a dilemma, do I keep a modest Xerneas with 31 IVs in Def, spec. attack and Speed or do I try for one with max in HP instead of Defense?

Its definitely 100% with an everstone trust me. And I can confirm it works with both male and female I've bred over 3 boxes of magikarp alone in the last 2 days to confirm this.

Ya the question is do i keep my jolly but average iv shiny magikarp or breed another 3 boxes worth?

I didn't even realise it was shiny but thought it looked a bit pale, but when u are doing batches of 5 you just tend to belt them out and look closer once you've got to a position where you can check the ivs.

Last Pokemon game I played was Sapphire

Kept wanting to play the new games but it meant having to buy a new console. Was tempted to get a cheap DS Lite a while ago but never did.

Take it this latest is good then? And do you need a 3DS to play it? How backwards compatable is the 3DS, in case I wanted to play the older DS games?

I play more DS games on my 3DS than 3DS games...

Play the heading game with it. Once you've done that a couple of times feed it the cakes with the swirls on top till it's full. After that, rub it untill no more hearts come out, then go back to playing games. Repeat and it's affection goes up rather quickly. Then just get it to level 15 ish and it'll have a fairy move et voila.
