Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19 - 21st October 2013]

haha, nice job. Suarez gets Newcastle's worst player sent off and results in a goal and an improvement in defence :p

to be fair to Pardew, there are some players who will just be terrible for say 5 games in a position then suddenly it all clicks, they get comfortable, adjust and suddenly look brilliant...... I can't see it with Mbiwa and they don't seem to have an awful lot of options. But Mwiba for me would be on his very last chance to make an impression and I'd be looking for a CB to buy in Jan either way.

No one said anything on here. Plus everyone appeals in a ground, wise up.

I was referring to the ground not on here thought that was obvious tbf :p also I agree with pk Moses needs to come off useless today move gerrard forward and Allen on. Poor defending for us can't be grudge Newcastle of that goal

Moses has been a passenger, to be fair you haven't been at your best today.

Park the bus boys.

Hatem off too please.

I'd be surprised if you could win this 2-1, park the bus with a dodgy ass defence isn't a good choice. With Remy and Hatem around upfront, Liverpool pushing forwards anything is possible. I wouldn't bet against Liverpool scoring again, but with Newcastle still breaking I wouldn't bet against Newcastle scoring as well.

To be fair this is more a case of me thinking parking the bus is bad, replacing Arfa not so much, he got a bit too over hyped the other season he's good but genuinely selfish and constantly makes the wrong calls unlike Sturridge who makes the right calls very often and shoots simply because you need players who shoot and it keeps defenders not knowing what you'll do. By shooting randomly from distance every now and then you make yourself unpredictable, if you always pass to the guy in the middle or never shoot outside the box then defenders will learn that. One of the things that makes Sturridge so effective is sometimes he'll shoot, and sometimes he'll put in a brilliant throughball, or run at the defence and then provide a ball or shoot.

Arfa may have scored a few crackers but he's not been very helpful or effective this season.
