Hi Guys,

last night all the taste in my coil and the vape in my KFL with a micro coil/cotton wick just stopped working. So I recoiled this morning as 2.1 ohms and the flavour is a bit dull still. It's not me getting used to it as the person who knows how good it tastes and rarely ever uses it has noticed it too. Whats wrong with it o.O

Edit: My normal coils are 1.7 ohms and this one is 2.1 ohms, I just cleared the chamber and bumped the voltage up a bit to 4v and the flavour is slightly stronger. I think 1.7 ohms is the sweet spot on the KFL's....

Yep always make sure the coil isnt touching the deck before i fire it up. If we are talking about aawatchs vids??, i think they are brilliant for people like yourself and me although i think he needs to work on his video angles as sometimes i cant make out what he is doing.

Need to order some M3 bolts myself as i want to try the micro coil method at some point.

Feel bad for you mate, i'd be gutted, I take my Provari and Protanks out with me, but i dont go out to get totally hammered anymore so its not so much of an issue for me. As Redmogg said, get yourself some cheap gear for nights out. :)

Bet you feeling rough today aint ya....

i just use a micro screw driver to make mine

Then heat up the coils and use pilers to tighten the coil

Man oh man, vaping at 1.7ohms on scopes raspberry juice in my KFL at 4.2 volts..what a hit and what a flavour as well.

Hits really hard with lots of vapour so i cant vape it constantly but ive now realised just how good the KFL is when you get it properly coiled and wicked. But the problem i was having was trying to get the coil and wick to work properly.

My next trick will be the microcoil and cotton method, think ill give that a go tonight if i can get some free time to myself.

As for out and about??, i usually carry my provari and a protank, dont think i could handle losing my kfl if im out so i leave that at home as my home vape.

Should have my pfte drip tips with me next week from Jim over at UK Vapers, the same ones that Majnu posted up a page back.
 
Got myself an MVP2 the other day and have been messing with VW, now from what I've read and my understanding VW is set and forget mode regardless of the ohms, but I've found that not to be the case, I have to adjust it just as much the VV mode, so why do people get such a hard on over VW :confused:

You guys are right about mods.

Ive not been drunk in months so I went out on a massive bender last night and my tolerence was crap >_> so i lost my stuff lol.

Starting to get the urge to buy a KFL or similar mod, now I'm settled in and comfy with my protank-2 and SVD. Where are people's preferred places for buying KFLs and similar?
 
Made a micro coil, followed that M3 micro coil vid, thing is, my SID reads it at a massive 3.0 Ohm...still, I built the tank, stuck some Monkey Jizz in it and vaped away...I now have a cloud in my bedroom...nice flavor...can only get better, but, I will say 1 thing...this thing is easier FOR ME to coil than a Genesis...
 
Anyone got suggestions on drippers? I want to buy a dripper and use it with something lol.
As I have my Rose coming soon im not going to be stupid and spend money on something overly expensive.

How many wraps and what wire did you use?

Yes, wanted something very small, stealthy, so made this. 316 Stainless, brass contacts and an adjustable air hole, and if my meter is telling the truth only .01 voltage drop!
Quite happy with it, its an unbelievable vape. Would change the button if I made another, the locking ring is bit fiddly, but other than that very happy with it. :)

It's flipping fantastic. :D How does the adjustable air work? Is it just a spin on the top cap mechanism? Edit - Does it sound like a whistle when taking a draw? The Kayfun's airhole have a chamfer to reduce it.
