290x is between titan and 780 performance. Not even close to 280x crossfire.

Wasn't aware there were reviews out of the 290X yet?

The reason i threw the 780 in there was i'd like good performance in games that won't use crossfire (granted not many these days)

Looks like it'll be two of these then.

Im thinking about selling my pair of 7970's and getting 2 of theses msi 280's, dont know why but i just like the look of them and its something new and shiny to play with
 
They spotted an issue before they shipped, the issue is being resolved and stock should leave Sapphire late next week for delivery the following week. :)
for this reason,ive just ordered the msi card,i was going to wait it out but ive just had to rma my old msi card for a fault,but was impressed with it while i used it for 10 mins :)
this card does look good and will run bf4 no problem,overclocking it can wait till i see more people using it and get some feedback from others :D
happy days,roll on monday/tuesday so i can finally get my new build up and running properly
