lol that'd be a nice goal in another other FIFA than 14. Unfortunately every player can do that now. I even did it with Valencia's 2* weak foot tonight.
Not sure I'm enjoying the game that much. Even while winning comfortably... I dunno, it doesn't seem that fun. And then the tight games are infuriating where your opponent has no game plan other than to whip it in endlessly. So easy to get into crossing positions as well...

Only other player I've seen hit it like that is Sturridge, he always does outside of the left shots. There will be others they just need the trait.
Oh wait it's just a standard finesse shot. Since the patch only certain players can score them from distance now.

Played a bronze team in the new tourney and surprise surprise, alessandrini felt like 20 pace, same with menez yet all of his players played like Ronaldo perfect at everything. He was celebrating and watching every replay too.
Challenged him to play me with a gold team so he added me, after I thrashed him he was immediately offline, I guess I'm blocked then?
Thinking about making a random bronze team tomorrow just to troll tourneys and division 1.

Ha ha I didn't upload. It wasn't quite as impressive but it was similar distance but more straight than yours. Tragic really.
Balo does the rasping 30 yard finesses too but I tend not to do them often or try with others. Feels like cheating.

Tevez is great if you use him in your build up play. I found out best to use him in a two man striker partnership. I have him upfront with Vucinic in my Juve squad. Both great passers of the ball.
Hamsik would do better at LCAM than Tevez however... Hamsik is class. Didn't like Diamanti, perfer Montolivo.
Hamsik - Guarin - Montolivo.
They can all help in defense as well as they all have decent tackling stats... or you can even try Vidal at CAM, I have tried him there and it works. He scores a few goals at CAM.

If I could just ignore people blatantly playing the crossing lottery I think I could enjoy this game a lot. It really winds me up though when you start beating someone 2/3-0 and then he starts heading for the wings to play the "flip a coin" game as to whether it's a goal or not.
I've been looking a lot at finesse shots and heading and I think a lot of it is down to the poor positioning of the keeper. I don't mean the stat, I just mean in general they're badly placed which allows these to be goals. With finesse shots especially they're often just in tragic places whereby they should be in a position to literally just catch the ball from a side foot from that range. Heading as well the keepers suffer from poor positioning or the ball just goes right through them and they don't save it or close to them and again completely miss it.
If I could just learn to ignore people resorting to things like that and control my frustration I think I will start to enjoy it. Problem is I start playing like turd when I'm frustrated and can then throw games I would win by playing too direct as a result of my frustrations.
Edit: no I don't send rage messages but I've received a few about having Zlatan and Balotelli together. One particularly amusing one was where a guy raged at me for having two players together "who wud neva play 2getha as they wud jus fight" and that I was playing unrealistically as a result.

Never used Diamanti he seems interesting, im currently loving Guarin and i have Hernanes as my other Cam but im still a little unsure of him. Maybe he would be better in the central CAM role in a formation like yours Tim, Guarin as a LCAM is a monster though he's a fox in the box for me. Also hows Asamoah at LB ? bit cheeky that i see, im currently on the save for Vidal i have Pogba and De Rossi but De Rossi isnt cutting it.
