Case=corsair
Mobo=MSI Z87-G45
CPU= 4770k
Gpu= MSI HD7950
RAM= 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2100
PSU= OCZ ZT 750WATT
H.D.D 120GB OCZ SSD

so a little info to consider. I'm looking to water cool this in the near future
I will by buying a 2nd 7950 in the future
I already have a W/D GREEN hard drive 1TB

After all this is bought i have circa 150 pounds free. Can anyone think of anything different that could be bought that would be better? Something else perhaps that i have over looked that would be beneficial?

Thank you

How about something that does get overlooked which is a nice mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse+mat.

I had the corsair vengeance k95 in mind.

I do have a bog standard mouse and keyboard. Used to have a cherry red keyboard forget what make it was..... It was nice.... Untill i melted it next to the fire grrrrr.

I've not been able to bring myself to spend over a 100pounds on a keyboard ever since lol

Well I did a decent amount of research for mine - Creative Aurvana Live Headphones - and I'm really happy with them. Unfortunately OCUK don't sell them :( They ended up costing ~£55. I don't think it's worth while going cheaper and I'd question whether I could tell the difference with a more expensive pair.

Have you already bought the parts in the op or will be buying? If you haven't bought already then would suggest going with a better PSU, antech or seasonic.

Agree with above,

1) Better PSU, maybe Seasonic G series as minimum.
2) Larger size SSD, Samsung 840 or 840 pro. Always search for the Samsung 830 first however, I picked up a 256GB new for £127. Little real world difference between 830 and 840 pro (I also own) but big savings if you find old stock.

So the majority of you all think the core build is fair.apart from the psu and ? And i could do with slightly better SSD

Usually people state a budget for a build and what the rig is for. Then we can goto work putting specs together taking the weekly offers etc into account.

Going from your rough spec.....

Very good case with excellent watercooling support. Faster RAM, I'd personally just get a 7970/280X (same difference) than a 7950. The H100 is cheap being refurb'd when it fails you can butcher it to reclaim the rad for a custom loop perhaps.

You can use THIS to post your basket/wishlist. Best of luck with the build, we look forward to seeing what you come up with :)
