eBay dumbasses

Some sellers use ebay as a tool to try to get custom through other venues like their own website. I've not looked at the link but I know of some sellers who sell at a loss of a few pence to gather details of sellers which they then use to build a mailling list.
 
He is saying it's a pre-order, so he doesn't even actually have it yet... and I see he has a feedback score of 4!

Not someone I would be in too much of a hurry to buy anything from!

He's not selling the console, he's selling a pre-order for it. Once you've won he'll most likely ask you to make up the difference, which will be well over the odds.

I was at the post office the other day and some woman was sending a ton of ebay packages....

to stupid to check how much the postage would cost on the royal mail website...

when she was told how much they cost to send she said "er oh well I'm losing money on these then"

lol.......
 
Haven't you only got something like 30 days to claim through PayPal if there's an issue? So if that sells today then by the time it's released it will be too late for buyer's to claim if it's a scam...

I dont think Joe public know how much more it costs these days to send stuff - a lot of the price changes earlier this year meant that some of them increase >100% in price. The chnage was so bad that RM lost a load of small ebay seller work so I believe are thinking of backtracking or chnaging the Medium parcel rates

yea but still if you check the rm website you can see how much it costs to post stuff by weight/size and she was sending stuff that was all in the exact same dimensions and weight
