How many spam telephone calls do you get a day?

So far today my house phone has rang 6 times so far with unknown or international id's. The usual stuff, machine voice etc. I never pick them up but the calls are getting more and more frequent. Getting on my nerves.

We've had 2 just now, I've just blocked the number. Sadly people like to ring us from international so I can't just block all internationals.

On average i'll get 1 or 2 days a month where the same number keeps ringing me without leaving a message. Check up the number and it's the usual spam calls.

They've got a habit of ringing the main works number at the minute and the longest we've managed to keep one on the phone 'on hold' was 25minutes.

I havent got a landline telephone so that reduces it by a LOT i imagine. I get about 1 a week on my mobile, but i have a contact called 'Spam' that it set to go straight to voicemail (love Android), so each time i decline the call and add them as a new number on my spam list - that way my phone never rings for them.

God it seems I am way way out in the lead. I used the tps service from BT ages ago and it did seem to die down. But over the past few weeks the number has skyrocketed. It's always unknown ID or international. So I can't block them.

Everyone important has their own custom ringtone so I normally know who is calling.

Most of mine are

"We have record that you have had an accident in the last 2.5 years...

NO I HAVE NOT!!!!

Do you want to consildate your debt?

NO I DO NOT!!!!!

"Do do want to do a PPI check????

NO I DO NOT, I HAVE DONE TWO ALREADY, I AM NOT OWED ANY PPI

I have now resulted in answering the phone, ask firmly asking me to remove them from their caller list, pronto

Maybe 1 or 2 a month on average though occasionally do get the same one trying multiple times in one day. I occasionally get calls from random numbers so never know whether it is spam or someone I know, though if it turns out to be spam I keep add to my list of don't answer numbers.

Best ones are always where they some how ring your work phone as can waste their time passing them from one department to another.
