How many spam telephone calls do you get a day?

I get about 2 a year on my mobile. Had my number since 1994.

Don't give mobile numbers to companies unless you have to.

Never answer a number you don't recognise unless it's local. If it's importation they'll leave a message.

Never get them on my landline.

None, Dont have a phone plugged into the landline, who needs it these days with free min uteh on mobiles and skype for abroad. Can always plug a phone in if needed for a cheap number.

And when I chnage phone/sim i dont keep the number, so none on that either.

I used to get a fair few on my mobile, I blocked about 10 numbers with Android and none have got through for a while.

I love looking through call history and seeing them still trying, lots of red crossed out log entres :D

1 a month or so on my mobile. Never answered the home phone, so no idea there, but I never heard it ringing either, so probably not many.

More in Taiwan, but Line is a horrible program for that sort of thing.

average one a day, 2-3 on bad days, my spam contact in my phone is getting long, this is all to mobile, home line is about 1 a week.

probably one a day but hopefully that'll come right down as i can now block phone numbers on my mobile with the new update..

feels good to hang up after i find out who they are then block them..

0. Had a couple when I was on T-mobile from their 'partners' about upgrades but since I joined Three nearly a year a go I've not even had anything even like that.

It greatly reduced when I registered on the TPS site and again when I stopped giving website's our home phone number.

Until I changed my phone number I was getting a couple every day. Serves me right for joining online casinos and other sites which need to verify your phone number.

I took out a land line rental with Sky four years ago, it was clearly a recycled number as just googling it, I discovered it was being used by a former discount store.

Initially I was getting dozens of calls everyday, mostly spam, but also the occasional one from people enquiring about what we sold and those assuming it was a business and trying to sell services.

Registered with the TPS and asked every site I could find and Google to remove any reference to my phone number where it had been attributed to the old business.

I now get on average one call or so a week. It's always foreign call centres. Given how little I use the phone, I leave it on answer machine, so I typically just end up with messages left of beeps where the operator hasn't picked up the call yet.
