I don't plan to overclock, but will play games and use the pc for my work, so keeping the price no higher than it is now, what system would be best?
Note: the case, GTX 760 and being an Intel will remain the same...

Intel Core I5 3570
Artic Freezer Pro 7
Asus P8Z77-V LX2
Fractal Design Arc Midi Tower R2
700W Cooler Master GX Lite Power Supply
8Gb Kingston Hyper-X DDR3 1600mhz
2TB SATA3 Hard Drive
LG DVDRW Optical Drive
2GB NVidia GeForce GTX 760

£804.10

I included the TJ08-E because OCUK don't stock fractal anymore, though my case choice would be the Fractal Arc Mini... :)

A nice mATX system. :D

Given that the only real flexibility is the motherboard and cpu, there really isn't a decision to make.

You forgot the fact the PSU is junk. :D

Did you need CUDA for work is that why the 670 appeals?

For £800ish with a soundproofed case, me, personally perhaps......

Mobo comes with a £30ish (so decent) tower cooler for free. You shouldn't be scared of overclocking it really is as difficult as you make it. Simplest form is just upping the CPU ratio gradually, you have a good cooler so use it :)

760 is roughly on par with the 670 but is a little cheaper. There is a 7950 available with some free game goodies given away free. 280X is good although is basically still a 7970.

Best of luck with the build bud, I look forward to seeing what you choose :)
