Im getting very  now

Had problems with FoxHound 3.0 - installed ok but couldnt install any mods.

Now onto Omega 13 and again, it installed fine but I still cant install any mods.

Dunno what Im doing wrong, Ive done a full wipe and installed from clean.

Spent 4 hours or so doing this. Hate flashing!! AArrgghhhh!!!!!!

Think I've sorted it now. There was a power menu app that got installed which wasn't compatible.

* Turns out I had installed it.

Anyone who's seen Galaxy Quest knows that Omega 13 only exists to enforce a rollback. :D

Most likely. I am yet to feel or see any difference between 4.2.2 and 4.3 yet, though I haven't really done much. In fact there hasn't been that much difference between 4.1 and 4.3, hopefully 4.4 will bring something new to the table.

Shame that It'll be 4+ months away and hidden under the TW fugly skin.

Any advice with a cracked screen...

I'm getting varying advice and prices. £50-£99 for the glass, some say it's not as good after if you just do the glass, but is that not as good like if you put a screen protector on, or not as good you're tapping at the screen 3 times before one registers?

Whole LCD and screen is £175-£200 and much quicker apparently.

Phone still works fine, image looks okay behind the glass. Any tips?

I'd be careful about glass only, I'm pretty sure these are bonded now so the glass and lcd come as 1 unit when done properly.

I had my daughters iPod touch done via ebay on a cheap repair and it's "fine" nothing more, screen quality is worse, washed out and you can tell its much less smooth. This was using "official apple spares" yeah right.. buyer beware if you cross the tracks!

I've had a chat with a guy/shop in my area who has told me glass only would be 3 days as they need to deal with undoing the old glue, removing it and re-bonding. He seemed quite insistent they are a little more expensive as they do it properly, many others do quick, cheap, bodge jobs. He says when they do the glass only (£99) it's as good as new.

For now I've put an old Galaxy Nexus screen protector on that I found laying about. My big concern was I had a slither of glass come out into my thumb! At least that can't happen now.

My kid's s3 looked worse, still worked, we sent it to be repaired as an insurance claim and it is fine now after a pro glass repair, if it was insured your insurance and excess would equal the repair cost so IMHO either get it repaired and bear the costs or sell as broke and get as new one and a flip case.
