Who uses a battery toothbrush?

As title -- I have used a ordinary battery one for a few years now and found it ok. - About a month ago Lidl were selling these Sonic toothbrush's so treated myself - has three different brush's with it and I feel my teeth are polished now instead of just cleaned so very happy with it - so happy I bought another one in case it broke.

Today I found another use for it -- It cleaned my glass's especially the wire nose bridge-- soaked them in hot water first then used soft brush -(don't use that for my teeth)- The brush doesn't rock as such like ordinary one's - it cleans with 40k oscillations per minute- it sort of vibrates and did a good job on glass's. - It has 3 speeds - fast -medium - massage.

If I was younger I am sure I could find other uses for it as the high frequency vibration tingles.

Oral B 1000 here, got it at a bargain £16 at the beginning of the year. Does a great job.

I bought quite a decent Oral B one, I didn't feel like my teeth were clean after using it so went back to a manual brush. Maybe it was just me...

I use an Oral-B TriZone SmartSeries 5000 Five-Mode Rechargeable with Wireless Smart Guide. It cleans my teeth as well.

I use same as above, cheap and cheerful. My last one the battery did explode and leak everywhere though...

I use one, so do the kids. Which they need because they are lazy asses and at least the electric one does a more thorough job

Cant remember which Oral B I have, but it was expensive £50+. I definitely think it has been worth the money and that it cleans my teeth better than a manual.

The wife bought me one of those last Christmas!, Supposed to last 20 minutes (10x 2 minute Brushings, 5 Days) before the Vibration tells you to stop! I'm lucky if I get 4 minutes out of it!! so I have to charge the damn thing every day!!!

The Wife Has an Ancient (about 6 years old!) Oral B (without the 2 minute Vibration) and hers lasts about 4 days!!! :mad:

Otherwise My teeth feel nice and smoooooooth!!

Yeah, the battery has definitely deteriorated, but I just have it on perma-charge now, and it does a fine job for the monies.

No, I'm oldschool, I just brush 3 times a day with a quality normal toothbrush.

Me. I bought one after my (Most recent) dentist said I should get one. Its some cheapo oral b jobbie bought from boots, Its the 2nd one after the on button stuck on the 1st.

Oral B 3000 here, after just over a year I'm noticing the battery lasting less and less, gutted you can't replace the battery. Thinking about asking Oral B, not sure they will care.

I've been using mine (can't remember the exact model) for about 12 months but I have to say I'm in the same boat and considering going back to the manual way.

The thing that winds me up is how long it takes to charge and how often you have to charge it.
