Most wont notice difference between 20ms delay either, pro gamers does however notice. I use high sensitivty on the mouse and people I talk to in TS cant belive I use such setting and able to do what I do.
its a world of difference in elite fps gaming vs good PUB and most who think they are good elite fps gamers seldom are so good in a pub setting normally without their team support.

BF4 I dont call a pro level fps game even if they do e-sport.

I would agree with your points for games like COD and CS:S but as you said more or less, not for BF games (especially BF3, unless comp players use the pro mod); netcode isn't good enough plus there are too many factors that decide the outcome of the game and rely more on team work, organisation, other skills than just good aim and fast reaction etc.

Even when I had my 4850 512mb (playing at like 30-40 FPS and when you zoomed in it would drop to as low as 20FPS and even further with the sniper scopes), I was still coming in the top 3 with a good K/D, now if that had been with COD or CS, there is no way I could have done as well.

edit:

no doubt that the difference between 60hz/FPS and 120hz/FPS is noticeable regardless of the game, however, it doesn't necessarily make you a better player, same way a better mouse, keyboard etc. won't make someone a better player.

DG, your backtracking over the last 3 weeks has been hilarious to watch.

At one stage you said something like BF4 looked worse than BF3. You also said it was basically MoH2014.

You also mocked those (mainly Neil79) that told you performance was better in Windows 8...until you tried it yourself.

And now you're suddenly like an excited little schoolboy. What changed?

i said it looked like moh it does ! many have compaed it to moh. this isnt a bad thing but as usual people just assuming i mean in a negative view.

i did say that there wouldnt be much difference from win 8 to 7 but.. in the beta there was a difference but ... again in the finished game the difference isnt as much as it maybe was so it will be close perfromance in the finished game. i will try win 7 first with it then try win 8 then see.


before really giving bf4 a good go i did think it may turn out like bf3 ill admit that . bf3 was a mess and still is. a skilless game of campers or vehicle whores in 99 percent of games.

after playing the beta for many hrs i am pleased its not much like bf3 and has decent reg and better balalnced vehicle wise. so yes i am excited and anticipating its release. if that pleases you how shallow your life must be :p

so yes im hyped for bf4 looking forward to playing a great game. is there a problem with that ?

no point buy the basic game with china rising because not many servers will be playing the very newest maps as they ll be chasing server rankings.

if they think theyll gain rankings or lose ground they opt for a map or rotation change. also as with any game the stock maps are the most owned so most play stock maps !

by the time premium maps are needed guess what price will of fallen and youll pick up a better deal ;)
 
Regarding the moh games, the first one (2010) is absolutely gorgeous looking when maxed out, excellent hit reg. Just didnt take off though online.
 
Pre-ordered from Simplycdkeys last night. The paypal payment is currently pending. I presume this is correct until release on the 1st?

Yep, frankly with this and ESL I am in serious GIVE ME NOW mode.

I could run a little OcUK 5vs5 side (would be 1 of my many teams) if people would be interested. We'll get pwned but it'll still be fun.

Edit..Hell we could even do a 10vs10 team. WOuldn't be serious as I know those if us doing competitive will be playing for other teams too but a lineup of Westie, Kiwi, BB, Chief, Goon, Chronic, StonedPenquin and myself would be a good start. Maybe Flopper / Nexus as well...dunno, haven't played with flopper and only a few times with nexus :/
