Hi guys, Got my new car two weeks ago and called in at the petrol station today to check the pressures, and found the two front new tyres (Goodyears £145) replaced with (Rockford 105's £66)
I specificly know the Goodyears were on as the salesman made a point in telling me (Look two brand new Goodyear tyres on the front).
Anyway the car hasn't been out of my sight, and the only time the change could have happened was when i was told to pick the car up two days after i signed for it and it would be cleaned and valeted for me.

So what do i do now? call the salesman and tell him the situation and ask him to sort it out before i take the matter higher up, or do i not have a leg to stand on with it being two weeks after the event? ie my word against his.

I would say you don't have much of a leg to stand on. But if he specifically mentioned the Goodyear tyres, go back and kick up a fuss about how you've been missold, etc.

Ok thanks for the reply, i will bell them tomorrow and see what he says, but yeh he deffo said look at the two new Goodyear tyres on the front, even the missus picked up on that one.
