BMW and M Power Owners

Pad warning light came on this morning, pads are all fine so I'm guessing it's just a borked sensor - at the front as it's the oldest one. Can anyone remember which side it's on at the front? I think it's near side from memory

Talk to me about the Clubsports, I see they have little differences to a standard CI, but the most i've seen are similar priced to a standard, are they worth getting, there's one on PH for £5995 04 63k on the clock, sure that price can be haggled down.

besides the wheels which i'm not that fond of personally, and its an auto:( would this be a good buy?

They're pretty much the same bar the marmite rear spoiler, clubsport front splitters, clubsport wheels, and the silver alu carbon cube interior. Depends if you like that rear spoiler though as it tends to offend :p

I don't mind the Spoiler tbh, the wheels I don't like, but you can always grab a set of Ci wheels off the net, and price wise, the few decent examples i've found are pretty much priced the same as a standard 330ci.

If you are going to get standard wheels why bother, the wheels are probably the most significant difference.

Suppose, Only reason i'm suggesting it as there is more decent Clubsports about then standard CI's (as far as i'm willing to travel anyway).

Its just impatientness really, I just want a new car :(

If you like the look of them and can live with the rear spoiler, get one :)

I like the spoiler but hated the wheels so swapped those over after a year. If I could find a reasonable priced, reasonable spec Individual 330ci in Velvet Blue, I'd have got that instead but they were hard to find when I bought mine.

A cracker of a 330ci is on PH, but was posted 3 weeks ago, so probably gone by now, but the price is too much I think, so It could be knocking about.

I just want opinions on it really, how much would you pay for it?

£7,500 is a LOT of money for what is an old car now. I'd have expected that to be at least a grand cheaper.

I've drop him a message, see if He still has the car, hopefully if he still has it I can knock him down a bit, as this from all the other 330s about in the spec I want, this is literally the best example i've found so far.

It's a late facelift convertible in the best colour combination with sensible mileage. It's not going to be going for £6k. It's priced at pretty much exactly what I'd expect it to be at, IMHO.

Convertibles are always good at holding value.

So changing the subject a little here. 18's as winter wheels for the M3 - most probably going for OZ racing Ultraleggaras in matt black (although I quite like graphite too) but the question is, to get the staggered set (wider rears) or standard 18x8 all round (like BMW do with their winters)?

Staggered will cost about £100 more in tyres.

All the same size, if you must waste a pile of money on winter wheels in England at least do it properly - wide tyres compromise performance in snow.

I disagree, the difference will be negligible. UHP winter tyres like ContiWinterContacts will be excellent regardless of width.

I'd personally go with the staggered set as it will provide more traction on cold, damp roads, which is a much more likely scenario. £100 is peanuts when you're buying 4x 18" winters.
