Hmmm, where have I seen this happen before

Knowing EA if they do anything about people buying outside their country, they'll ban their accounts instead of refunds.

While that may just be some sarcasm at the end the latest trailer got me pretty hyped for the single player

Didn't bother with it on 3, it was pretty boring really, so if it's good then I'm happy!

Yes I ordered it via Origin UK in September this year. The VPN I use is: privateinternetaccess.com I've also tried FlyVPN just out of curiosity but still no luck

Downloading via cactus vpn but can't disconnect to use my own connection without getting an error.

Did anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?

Well beta was terrible for me. I have spent tons of cash on my system and it ran worse than many others with worse spec! Quite off putting and I don't know if I want to spend £100 on a game (to get all the packs) for it to run sloppily on a £2.5k system.

I was getting 60+ fps with a 10 second slowdown every 30 seconds, and then when I turned SLI off, theoretically making my 690 into a 680, I struggled to get 3fps the whole time! Only on 1080p too!

Apparently Win8 fixes all this but that's another £100, then all the hassle of migrating the old saves, games, documents etc. Also some of my friends say that after installing 8, their gaming mice no longer work, that Razer etc have not released drivers for 8, etc etc etc.

MINI TUTORIAL - How to preload

1. Download FlyVPN - http://www.flyvpn.com/files/downloads/FlyClient_3.0.1.8.exe [flyvpn.com]
2. Login and code - http://www.flyvpn.com/freetrial. [flyvpn.com]
3. Connect to korea, if it doesnt connect on the first try, just try again..
4. When it goes green, go and open up origin and start downloading.
5. After the download has started, turn of FLYVPN and the download should continue with full speed.

win 8 was 25 notes at asda yesterday dont no if its still on

Tried all that. Ordered 27th march via origin store. After connecting to korea vpp via flyvpn and starting up origin bf4 still greyed out and unable to pre0load.

The beta was pretty cack but it did improve as it went on with updates, supposedly an old build of the game as well. Bf3 beta was also pretty choppy to run, id expect the retail version to run much better without an OS overhaul.

Also a potential problem with Windows 8.1 and high input latency through directinput unless thats been solved - not sure if BF4 has an option to use raw input and/or whether it uses directx for input at all but it would affect other games even so.

TBH I ran relatively well on my system (Windows 7) though I was using a mixture of low and high settings and this laptop isn't exactly a gaming powerhouse - mostly between 30 and 50fps and rarely saw anything outside of that range - even during the bigger fights was usually about 44fps. (Which is playable but if I was to take BF4 seriously I'd upgrade to be able to hold around 100fps).

Mine actually got worse after the update. I was doing 90fps before it then it dropped to 60 odd and slowly deteriorated. I actually wondered if my SSD was dying but according to Magician it is all healthy :/

Tried all of that but when I disconnect from fly VPN I get an error. It doesn't start using my connection.

Downloading now via cactus VPN but don't know whether it'll let me download 24 gig or not.

Once you buy it, it will appear in your Origin purchase history. And it should show 649 mexican pesos.

I was scared too when i saw it lol.
