If you look at the picture with the foam and kid, how does that type of foam happen without some form of soap? It's really fine foam.

As the waves break, they trap more and more air. It becomes more and more saturated with smaller and smaller pockets of air.

Heavy and constant wind here now but aside from the first couple of minutes which were moderately stormy theres been nothing above mild storm level.
