That's it screw BBC and Sky news. They've been recycling the same damn weather report since yesterday evening. I'm relying on OcUK to keep me updated and amused :D

"met office reports 61mpg winds of plymouth!"

omg 61mph! lol

bbc needs less money, and whoever thought a bonnie tyler theme for i don't know ptogramme was a good idea needs an ear transplant!

Pretty damn windy here in Surrey.

I really don't understand the attitude of some people. Surely, it's a good thing if nothing happens? Why do some people 'act' like they're all disappointed that there's no storm? If something were to happen and it caused damage to you or your family's property (be it house or car or a family member gets crushed by a tree etc), would that *actually* make you feel better?

I am disappointed at the weather reports from news sources doing good ol fashioned scaremongering, My dad has been in a state getting worried about stuff getting wrecked because he has been watching the news, I told him don't worry and stop watching the BBC. Seems fine down here :D

Storm.... In a teacup

To be honest. Just woke up to a **** ton of rain though.
Barometer appears to have bottomed out at about 4am. So definitely in the storm...
Current wind..... 2.2mph gusting to 4.5mph.

Yawn!

Back to sleep then!

We have storm!

Here in Bristol it's incredibly windy and raining so hard I cannot see the trees across the road. Still underwhelming considering this was meant to be the worst storm for 20+ years.

It's been very windy at Christchurch a hundred metres from the sea for several hours now. if we were having 50mph gusts during Sunday Day, this must be about 70mph. No rain, that stopped a while ago. It's odd as there are no only light patchy clouds so I can se the moon and stars! It's meant to be windy all day now so I'm not sure when the storm really stops...

I'm taking the gf to work at 8, I hope it is still stormy then...

Bit gusty here, North London. Nothing that you would think unusual for late October, mind

Oh and yay for toddler body clocks! Not a **** given to the end of summer time :p

Even if there were 200 mph winds there would still be those asking "is that it?".
