Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Hopefully simply cd keys get the keys sent out early tomorrow morning so I can get the game downloaded whilst I am out for a few hours and then play the single player when I get home 
Not bothering with multiplayer till UK, Germany etc. servers are up, not putting up with rubber banding galore, getting shot around corners (even worse), dodgy hit reg. etc. Will just watch lvlcaps etc. MP gameplay footage to get to know the maps and where to go etc.

Why buy premium now? Only 1 dlc pack is out which everyone gets anyway, we have no idea what the other 4 or so map packs will be like, might as well just wait for the second expansion and then buy it (plus it will be cheaper or a good deal by then too)

Surely not according to CJS the keys will be banned by EA if released early.
The email from CJS said EA don't allow the keys to be released atleast 12 hours before the European release. So providing Simplycdkeys don't sends the keys out until after 12pm there shouldn't be any issues
To unlock the game? I've seen both 3pm and 4pm mentioned in this thread, apparently that's when it's unlocks in Korea and we all pray you don't need to be constantly connected to a vpn to play multiplayer
Well according to the link posted with the Korean release date countdown it will be 3pm today.

Agreed!! If I recall BF3 two years ago, we played the single player until around the Wed evening/Thursday

hmmmm, might actually jump on MP just to get flares too.
Shame DICE don't get rid of the stupid system of "UNLOCK EVERYTHING and do it multiple times as well!", just makes it a PITA for people that came late to the game, beta was superb largely because of that, you already had the basics to start of with so no worry of other players having an advantage over you or dying many times till you could hold your own against other people, vehicles i.e flares, secondary weapon like TOW missile, scopes etc.
TBH, if EA/DICE have an unlock everything pack for £5-8, I might just buy it, hated the unlock system in bf 3 (especially since nothing else was good/useful other than the red dot/kobra sight, heavy barrel, silencer and foregrip, which nearly everyone used!), felt like a chore and got boring after getting unlocks for 3-5 weapons hence I stuck with mostly the same weapons (and with even more unlocks i.e. several foregrip types, way more weapons, it will probably be even more tedious.........)

IIRC weren't some USA servers etc. kicking people from the UK etc. for BF 3 because we weren't suppose to be playing at that time?

Pay to win and unlock everything so you can have an unfair advantage... Sad.
IIRC they aren't an unlock this time and everyone has them from the off anyway so you can relax and have a cuppa!
I could use a completely stock weapon in bf 3 and/or stock ground vehicle (and no not the m16) and still kick ass and take names with ease
(biggest and only annoyance with a stock gun is the iron sights, a scope gives a huge advantage)Blame DICE's system, it is the stupid sad method, I don't have the time to spend hours every day and night to get a certain unlock(s) for 1 weapon and then do it again for like 90 weapons (?). No problem with BC 2 unlock system as it worked very nicely.
Besides, it nots like they have unlocks etc. that no one else can get without paying for i.e. like PS 2
I want to try and use certain weapons and loadouts in bf 3, however, simply cba going through the exact same process AGAIN just to get that 1 unlock hence why I stick with with only like 5 weapons out of the many many guns there are.

whats the MP and flares doodah about then?
Used China server on flyvpn for the pre-load, worked fine.
Has it been confirmed yet that if you unlock the game early using a VPN, then you will have to keep that VPN on forever?
Not that it will affect me too much I don't think as reading above I won't get my SimplyCD key till Friday anyway.
As soon as you start pre-loading it using VPN, turn it off and continue to use your own internet to download it.
