Kebab man dies !

to be fair, the quality of doner kebabs I've had in turkey/Greece and Germany is far better than most I've had in the uk - can't diss the man for his invention, only what people have *******ised it into...

This may sound strange, but I use to work in a place that use to sell the meat sold for use in kebabs and overall kebabs are generally healthy compared to most foods of its stereotype, sure there is a ton of fat and oil used in the cooking / making, however 70% of this is actually burned off during the cooking / rotating process.
This is especially more so for halal meats where even more care is taken in the criteria that specify what foods are allowed, and how the food must be prepared, types of meat and animal tissue etc.
The thing that makes kebabs unhealthy is the huge amounts of mayo, sauce etc people stick on them.

So for all you people that get battered and eat a kebab after a night out, do continue, just ease up on the chilli sauce and mayonaise :D

Sad news, but shish, donner cry too hard.

I'll tell you this though, there are times when having Turkish neighbours, who also own a take-away, is great. You should see the amount of food they give us over the wall when they have their extended family around for meals.
