Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

There seems to be a trend developing with first person shooters where the more popular they become the more people start to hate on them and the ones which hardly sell at all are considered awesome (arma 3...)

We have just had our stock delivered so orders will start processing straight away. There are several thousand orders to send out which will take time but your orders will be with you today. Thanks SG
 
Got my main game code key from CJS CD Keys this morning at around 1am, just have to wait for the Premium game code key to be sent now :rolleyes:

Or maybe they are like The Kings if Leon. They were once awesome although not to everyone's taste, they then changed their style to suit the mass market and now they are **** :D



I gave it a go last night and did quite enjoy it. On most maps tho everyone just tends to hang around one checkpoint, making for a game more like spray and pray TDM than an objective based team game.

To all of you saying this is another COD alike.

I hope you actually played the Beta.

If you did you will realise that the gameplay is much more akin to oldschool battlefield then battlefield 3.


As I have said before BF3 was like a deformed monster where as BF4 is a true bf game.


Me and Nexus and many other guys here played together through the beta and absoloutely loved it.

I will buy BF4 simply due to how much I enjoyed playing the beta.


I never felt this sense of enjoyment when I played BF3 however and as I said above the two games are not even close in terms of game play.
 
Ok, I'm going to have to VPN/pre load this tonight. I tried yesterday but that FlyVPN was at max capacity. Any chance of some other to try? Ta. :)

well after the great games yesterday full 64 player servers with minimal lag, frame rate drops today is another story, it's playing just as bad as the beta now. I can't wait to get in a server which has ping kick as I want to see what has changed since yesterday.

I played BF4 beta, thought it was more of the same. Liked BF3 to a point before everyone figured out that you could just spam rockets,shotgun and fast firing weapons and it turned into a cluster ****, but this is just a pointless expansion so wont bother.

Such a stupid post.
BF has been popular since the first one came out. Problem is they have made it more into COD since 3 and they even admit to chasing that cash cow.
Arma 3 sold enough as far as I know, and the reason people like Arma 3 is because a lot of it actually feels like old BF games!

netcode is slow with update and you nedd your ping matched to the server around 40-60ms

I had 200hours played in BF3 in 2 years.
it sucked badly. I just hate it.

Bf1942 3years...and countless hours.
BF2 6 years.

Bf4 beta I logged 150hours.
its the best game in the BF series to be true to the BF experience, its not there yet but BF5 might get it right fully.
its a ton of fun with a good squad and working tactical, many just spam but done right you can totally have a blast with Bf4 due better netcode, better map design so overall its fun.
shanghai map is the best map I played in battlefield, now maybe they have even better maps in the upcoming game :D

They balanced heli/planes vs inf.
They balanced tanks vs inf.

you can drive a tank under the roof and cap a flag not having planes or heli take you out, all good things

its back to tactical gameplay which I love about the battlefield.
BF3 simply was to badly designed to allow it and the netcode was horrible it still isnt good but its manageable now at least with Bf4..
 
Tried loads of drivers, all direct x fixes etc..

game still crashes after about 20 minutes or less with device hung error. Used to happen in Battlefield 3 aswell.. using a 7950 :/

It's not overheating or anything but it is very annoying can't play a full game! :(
