Is that an official mockup?! So much want if real (kinda looks like the shade of grey from the PS1 controller). I mean, I really want the white one but with it being custom made and all that.. :\

Naah its not, a lot of these were knocked up when the red/blue were rumoured (you should see the white PS4 pic). That one is just an idea with the PS brand coming up to its 20th birthday and as you said it uses PS1 grey...

But how that looks better than the white is just madness

. I expect SCEJ to do a white one when the PS4 launches there

Hi guys,

I currently have this monitor - http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consum...S27A750DS/XK?subsubtype=series-7-and-9-3d-led

and a crappy 23" as a secondary for my PC gaming.

What I want to do is also plug my PS4 into the 27" when I get it so I can use it for PS4 and the secondary as a stand alone if I need PC on at same time.

Question is will that monitor be any good for PS4 gaming? Sounds like a silly question as it looks really nice for PC gaming but I put GTA V on PS3 on the monitor and it didn't look great. Not sure if I was expecting too much or if maybe I needed to change some settings?

FYI - I play both PS3 and PC through it with HDMI.

Better off sat at a distance on a TV, sat close up on a monitor will look like crap especially if your used to PC game on the same setup.

Agreed, I have my 2nd Xbox hooked up to my secondary monitor in my computer room, and I notice any graphical problems a lot more on my monitor than I do downstairs on my 47" TV.

Not what I was wanting to hear. I'm trying to avoid buying 2 new TVs.

Want a 46" for the downstairs living room and then I could use my old 32" LCD for PS4. Downside is its only 1080i/720p.

MIght have to go for the 46" TV and save for another smaller 27"~ for the PS4 in the bedroom

Yeah the white DS4 controller looks amazing! I saw the guide of how the guy custom made it, but there's no way in hell I'd be able to do that

and it would probably be expensive if people were to sell them custom made if they'd even be allowed to do that

Id like to do it but for just a controller it seems a lot of additional expense - the touchpad housing and getting that back right would scare me - the rest looks like the DS3, though I hope the shoulder buttons are easier to lock back in

PS4 Pre-Order Help!!

Friend of mine is looking to pre-order a PS4. With local supplies being exhausted, he’s desperate to get an order in before release date.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent pre-order site/store or advise if a PS4 pre-order is looking to be cancelled/transferred?

Had a try of a PS4 with the new assassins creed earlier. The controller felt rather good, but still don't agree with the placement of the left analog stick. Was pretty slick when I went into the menu from pressing the ps button, but gave a slight hang as I left it - but I expect that to be caused by a bug which won't be there come release. Was rather slick as a whole, and the graphics are pretty nice, not blown away by them though, but I suspect that it's due to Pc gaming.

I have just placed a pre order with ShopTo for the PS4 with Killzone and COD:Ghosts and they are claiming it will be out for delivery on launch day. I also phoned the customer services to check that this is accurate before placing the order, he said that it is guaranteed. So give them a try.

Buy second hand off the members market or on Avforums.

I sold a 42" pz85b for £135 at the start of the year, it's also better than any lcd you could buy brand new for over 3 times that price.

Wrapping it or stick on vinyl should be cheap and easy.

I wasn't interested in DC at first but some of these recent snippets are drawing me in. Looking much better. Depends how arcady it is though. Do we know if it (it being a cutdown version) will still be 'free' to PS+ subscribers now that it has been delayed? Or was that a dangled carrot to get people to bite at launch?
