Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Guys my VPN works fine, game is not grey and can be launched. The problem is that when I try to join a server I get a "could not authenticate bf4 on this account" error.

I downloaded normally and not through VPN, is this the cause of this problem?
 
Played through quite a lot of singleplayer today but in doesn't seem to saving my progress in battlelog. Anyone else having this problem?

If I load the game it resumes fine where I left off. :confused:

But once I close the vpn, it goes back to the UK release date :(

Was going to just move the game installer file but the damn option wasn't ticked so no installer, unless I can some how move the "installed" files and do something :confused:

Really ****s me off, why can't they just release it at the same god damn time!
 
Simply have just sent mine out from a 14th October pre order so they are around that order date in the back log.
 
After 2 good games on good servers, I've just had a server crash and been on another suffering with severe rubber banding. :(

50/50 record with decent servers so far. Not good enough.
 
I preloaded mine on origin normally and unlocked via hideipvpn (US vpn) so that I could try the SP.
Bare in mind when you stop using VPN origin will show the game greyed out again and show the uk release date. I also changed my ori account password before doing it since who knows how open the VPN actually is.

Anyway I must say I'm impressed by the graphics. Ultra settings at 1920x1080. 60FPS and above pretty much all the time. Definitely loads better than the beta. The lighting/shading is stunning.
Biggest disappointment for me so far No CO-OP!!! :(

Now waiting till official release before I play some MP.
 
Not being able to play MP is going to hurt - exchange congestion that's only due to be fixed on November 26th, so I'll only be able to play during the day when I'm never around, and some of the weekend, bloody Sky :(
