Tall people, where do you get your shirts!?

I have a long torso and suffer this problem, I'm considering buying to accomodate my neck and having everything else taken in for a few quid at the local tailors.

Where did you get that from?

I am over 6 foot and 95kg :D

My problems with finding shirts that fit my neck and are not too wide in the chest and im too fat for slim fit. I also find slim fit unconformable, even when i was not fat.

some girl at pret told me :D

American Eagle do a 'tall' size for their tops/shirts, reasonably priced - Abercrombie 'large' seems okay for me, I'm 6 3" and people at 5-a-side call me Croutchy.

As above, M+S and Next can order in 'long' sizes.

My favourite at the moment are the slim fit range from TM Lewin. They do three different sleeve lengths although the extra long (38 inches my size) are being phased out I was told. I am 6'7" with a 17" neck, chest 46" & waist 36". They fit very well.

I have a few M&S 2" longer and there were good before I found the slim fit ones (not that I am slim).

I noticed a recommendation for Charles Tyrwhitt earlier. There longest sleeves are not as long as the TM Lewin ones (they only go up to 37").

Shirt styles on Jerym street go like this:

Regular - for the fat ********, bordering on obese
Slim fit - for those about average to slightly overweight
Super slim/tailored - for those in shape but not body builders (who will fit in slim fit) - but they only have about half a dozen colours...

If you're really slim then don't shop there as everything is too big... I get the impression they know most of the people that shop there are generally more "experienced" office workers with a bit of girth... Much like waist sizes are larger in some shops than others (so called comfort sizing). It's a shame for normal slim people. :(

Turnbull and Asser do bespoke shirts and are great quality. I'm almost 7 foot tall so have no chance of buying off the rack from anywhere. These guys are pricier than the cheap places like Thomas Pink etc for sure, but they do last.
